Quilt maker to the stars, fearless leader of the Glitterati, and spiller of truth tea, Molli Sparkles originates from small town, USA, but has called Sydney home for over twenty years. He has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MFA from USyd. His textile journey started in 2012, with a quilt for his grandmother; since when Molli has written for multiple publications, published patterns, won several ribbons, and made quilts that hang in private collections worldwide. Of course he drinks champagne while sewing — and has learnt that it’s just fabric: you can’t break it! Join Molli as he shares scintillating detail of his quilt-making, inspiration and technique behind some of his most scandalous patterns and most award-winning quilts.
